Music Sunday 45

Dear readers! 

It's already the end of the March and I will have an exam in 2 days. Also will have some chocolate&coffee tomorrow to celebrate the day of my name - Marite, as it is stated in Latvian calendar. :) By the way, my name means "ladybird" in latvian and It was given to me by my dad.  

Also recently I have been listening to podcasts by Chris Oatley - http://chrisoatley.com/. 

Interviews with artists, tips and tutorials, there are also a lot of amazing podcasts in Paper Wings website for comic artists, but It's useful for all the artists who seek some great resources and advice.

...and as you may notice I haven't finished those two paintings that I mentioned in earlier post, but I managed to put a lot of time and effort in this one - "Soul Guardian" - painted from my pencil sketch and painted in Photoshop CS3. Will try to be as productive as possible in next two weeks and I wish you all to have an amazing and inspiring week! :)

Dear readers!

It's almost the middle of March and I'm having an English language exam in 10 days. A bit anxious, but hopefully everything will be okay. :) Also will try to use less of too bright& vibrant colors to challenge myself and of course there will be soon more art by me - a landscape painting and fanart of Castiel. :)

Dear readers! 

First Sunday of March. I'm kinda making my life's most difficult decision of whether in which university I would like to study for next 3/4 years. It's just so frustrating.

... and I decided to update my work space and I just painted the wall in white color (in the night, when I'm occasionally pretty much full of energy after drinking two cups of coffee) and put some inspirational things all over it. Also there are cup and headphones (which I colored in white/blue color in that same evening)

in the photo. ..and under it, also the Doctor Who fanart (eyes of the time lords) and some inspirational quote.

So I visited my sisters in these holidays and procrastinated a lot, but in a good way of eating pizza and watching tv series all day. Found some wonderful watercolor paper - which is quite difficult, because I live in a small town and there is very limited range of art supplies in local bookshop.

It has been snowing so much recently. Watched a whole season of some tv series in one day - okay, but have to focus now on other things. Also finished two paintings (you can see them in this post - "Stay calm" and "Oh deer"). Getting used to my wacom, but still painting as much as possible with watercolors.
